Notice of Blind Licensee’s Committee Meeting

Due to unforeseen circumstances, The Nebraska Business Enterprise (NBE) Program’s Blind Licensee Committee meeting originally scheduled for September 11, 2020 will be postponed until Friday, September 18, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. in the first floor conference room of The Nebraska Commission for The Blind & Visually Impaired 4600 Valley Road, Lincoln, Nebraska.

The Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired (NCBVI) is celebrating the 20^th Anniversary of our inception, along with the 30^th Anniversary of the Americans with Disability Act and the 100^th Anniversary of Vocational Rehabilitation in the United States! 

Tours of the Nebraska Center for the Blind will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 1:50 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to come for a tour.

The Program will begin at 2:00 p.m.

Notice of Meeting

The Board of Commissioners to the Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired will meet Friday, July 31, 2020 beginning at 9:00 A.M.  There will not be a Focus Topic as the Commission will be holding its 20^th Anniversary celebration in the afternoon. 

The meeting will be held at 4600 Valley Road, Room 4A, fourth floor, Lincoln, Nebraska. 

The NCBVI offices will be closed in honor of Independence Day.

The Board of Commissioners to the Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired will meet Saturday, May 30, 2020 for a Commissioner Orientation training.  Pursuant to Executive Order number 20-03, signed by Governor Pete Ricketts on March 17, 2020 granting special waivers to the Open Meetings Act, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will be conducted by telephone conference call.

All State Offices are closed in honor of Memorial Day.
