This will be held November 12 – 14, 2026 in Aurora, NE for our consumers who are age 14 through high school graduation.

The Nebraska STEM Access Conference 

This conference is October 22-24, 2026 in Lincoln, NE, and is intended for a wide audience, including blind consumers, parents and guardians, teachers, and professionals who work with blind and low-vision learners.

Earlier this spring, the Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired (NCBVI) participated in our routine state attestation process. The Board of Commissioners to the Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired will meet Saturday, May 9, 2026, beginning at approximately 9:30 A.M. There will not be a Focus Topic at this meeting, as the Board of Commissioners will be discussing the annual performance evaluation of the Executive Director.  

The meeting will be held at the Lexington Public Library, Benthanek Maragritz Meeting Room, 907 N Washington Street, Lexington, Nebraska.
