Notice of Blind Licensee’s Committee Meeting

On Saturday, June 17, 2017, the NCBVI Board of Commissioners will meet as previously announced and per the notice below.

In addition to the primary location in Lincoln, we will have a video conference opportunity for all who wish to attend at the Scottsbluff NCBVI Location.  The secondary location is the State Office Building, , 505A Broadway, Suite 700, Scottsbluff Nebraska.

Beginning time in Scottsbluff will be 8:00 AM Mountain Standard Time.

The Blind Licensee Committee will meet Saturday, March 4, starting at 10:00 AM, in York, NE at the Kilgore Memorial Public Library, 520 Nebraska Ave.   A telephone conference call option will be available for those not able to attend in person.  If the phone option or any other reasonable accommodations are needed, please contact NCBVI at 402-471-2891 or 877-809-2419.  Every effort will be made to arrange the accommodation.   Please note you will not be able to vote or have your attendance counted if you are on the conference call. 

The Board of Commissioners to the Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired will meet Saturday, November 4, 2017, beginning at 9:00 A.M.  The Focus Topic will be Changes in the Rehab Act from WIOA.

The meeting will be held at the Omaha State Office Building, 1313 Farnam on the Mall, Room 227, Omaha, Nebraska.  Everyone must enter the building from the east doors (13^th Street).

The Board of Commissioners to the Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired will meet Saturday, July 29, 2017, beginning at 9:00 A.M.  There will not be a Focus Topic as the commissioners will be reviewing the applications for the NCBVI executive director position.  The meeting will be held at Best Western Plus, 3201 South Jeffers Street, North Platte, Nebraska.
