PRESS RELEASE - E.B. Whitten Silver Medallion Award

The National Rehabilitation Association has selected Carlos R. Serván, J.D., Executive Director of the Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, for the E.B. Whitten Silver Medallion Award. 

The E. B. Whitten Silver Medallion Award was established in 1974 in honor of the Association's first Executive Director. The award is presented to an individual who has exercised notable leadership in removing environmental and legal barriers and in helping to overcome discrimination of persons with disabilities.

The National Rehabilitation Association (NRA) is a member organization that promotes ethical and state of the art practice in rehabilitation with the goal of personal and economic independence of persons with disabilities.

The NRA Awards Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, October 7 at 11 a.m. Central Time via Zoom.  If you would like to attend the ceremony, below is the Zoom information.
